Fully Charge Your Phone in 30 Seconds Flat With Impressive Battery Technology

smart phonePhones are rapidly getting smarter and smarter. Pretty soon, there will be very little you can’t do on a smart phone that you can do on a computer. Yet one thing that has suffered from this increased facility on our mobile devices is battery life. They rarely seem to keep up and sometimes we have to make painful decisions about how we use the last of our mobile juice. Well not anymore it seems, as an Israeli based start=up company called StoreDot have developed a new phone battery that will fully charge your phone in just 30 seconds.

Sounds pretty neat doesn’t it? The prototype was unveiled at Microsoft’s Think Big conference in Tel Aviv and whilst it requires a charger that is a lot more chunky than your average USB charger at the moment, it remains an impressive demonstration. Don’t believe us? See for yourselves…

The device works by using nanotechnology, based on the discovery of new bio-organic peptide molecules that the company use to make their multifunctional ‘nanodots’. These nanodots are at the heart of their technology and used to power several of their patented innovations.

There’s no exact date as to when this product will be hitting our shelves or how much it will be costing us but it all sounds great so far. The company say that the finished model will be approximately the size of your usual phone battery and might cost upto twice as much as your standard phone charger but if it holds up its end of the bargain and the end product is anywhere near as impressive as the prototype in the video, I can’t see anyone minding about spending a bit of extra cash.

What are your thoughts? Too good to be true? Or are you as excited as we are? Share your thoughts in the comments section. And if you want to know more about the company and their incredible technology head to their website at  www.store-dot.com
